LINT landscape architecture was founded by the landscape architects Alexander Herrebout and Gerwin de Vries in 2011 and is located both in Utrecht and in Middelburg. LINT functions as a landscape laboratory working on relevant issues related to landscape like coastal reinforcement, sweet water storage, energy landscapes, new ecologies, urbanisation and infrastructural design. In a fascination driven approach, LINT searches for relevant, seductive and precise landscape interventions. The results vary from small scale interventions to large scale spatial strategies.
LINT has been awarded the first prize in the International Archiprix and both Alexander and Gerwin received a starter stipend from the Netherlands Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture. The projects of LINT have been exhibited and featured in (inter)national media and exhibitions. LINT is involved in educational activities at NHTV Urban Design Breda, HKU Spatial Design Utrecht and Larenstein Landscape Architecture Velp.
